Cases look pretty good for the most part, easy enough refinish would make them beautiful again. The amp case just needs a re-veneer on the top at least, but that's not a terrible job on a case with lines like that. Cheers, what a haul. :thumbsup:
 
I've finally got around to working on the Fisher's. I worked on one of the 400's today. The chassis looked like it spent a long time in a peat bog! Cleaned the chassis. Cleaned the tube sockets and powered up the variac. And nothing happened. Hmmm. No voltages. I then realized I was an idiot because as far as the fuse was concerned all I did was a visual check. It looked good but the ohm meter said different. The receiver sounds nice - even with the original capacitors. Even the EM84 eye tube is good. I didn't run it long. But I do need a new slide switch (High Filter). Didn't see any on ebay. On to the next 400.
