@IPADave - Have you had any issues sharpening your ZDP-189 steel?
Dragonfly research has the original steel as V-10, which to some is easier to sharpen (?). ---> Newb to knives here so go easy.
The Seller of mine swapped out the V-10 steel for ZDP-189, but kept the Zome FRN which was original to the V-10 Dragonflys.
Correct me if wrong on this but to swap/upgrade the V-10 to ZDP-189, the cost difference was approx. $30, right?
I haven't sharpened any of my ZDP-189 blades yet. I do have a set of Lansky diamond stones for when I do sharpen them.
You are correct V-10 steel is easier to sharpen it being a "softer" steel than ZDP-189.
I don't remember the exact cost difference between the Dragonfly versions but the ZDP-189 blades were significantly more expensive.
