Ok, you have 250 sq ft, my room is 238sq ft. I've had great success with the Martin Logan SL3's that sounded superb in that room as well as a bigger one, granted they had to be slightly more than 1/3 the way out into the room but man did they sound great.Good luck with your renovations and happy listening when it's all said and done. :thmbsp:
Buy used at the right price and you can enjoy it, sell it and never lose any money. I've even managed to make some on certain gear at certain times. What was truly amazing is the amount of gear that went through my friend's system on his 5 year quest for perfect sound with little regard to cost. That was a fun trip! :yes: Another friend just plunked more than you could spend on a brand new 911 Turbo on some Krell gear (Evo one and two) and Peak Consult speakers.
Funny how McIntosh took me off the merry go round and I have no interest to get back on. :thmbsp:
