I'm trying to get you to verify the preamp. The power amp is not in this step. We are using the preamp as a phono pre to the receiver to the speakers.

You haven't figured out if any of this works and I'm trying to verify each piece because they don't work together, yet

So phono>preamp>main out to receiver>speakers.

I'll get to the power amp in later steps. I have to work with what you have to check things out.

I hope my instructions are clear. For me to diagnose from a thousand miles away, I need to have things done a certain way and get a response so I can determine the next step.

Once we prove the preamp works and the fuses, all 7 of them, in the amp are good, we can move on to the next steps.

Hooked up the speakers to the NAD receiver, aux setting on the NAD nothing but a hum through my Monitor Audio’s. You mentioned a test with the iPhone, could you walk me through that?
 
A couple simple things that can sometimes cause lack of sound.
Fuses.
Monitor switch position.
Speaker selector position.
Function control position.

This may be more complex than these easy to check items.
 
Phone headphone output with a cable to the Aux input on the preamp. Select Aux on preamp, volume to about half.
preamp output to the Aux input on the NAD
Use the NAD to prove the signal gets through the preamp.
If this doesn't work verify the phone by plugging it into the Aux on the NAD and repeat to prove the phone works.

If the preamp works here the phono section of the preamp is suspect. If the preamp does not work here, maybe the unit is not passing a signal properly.
