Q

Ted- Did you used to hang with Pink Floyd?

[bobsvinyl]

WORDS

They can heal or hurt,
carry truth or sow libel,
create images
that can release emotions
Their weight is much more than ink.

[bobsvinyl]

EARTHWORM

Soft and sinuous
unfazed by hardened soil
nature's testament.

[Quadman2]

EARTHWORM

Soft and sinuous
unfazed by hardened soil
nature's testament.

Now this is good!

Earthy

Q

[merlynski]

Robin

red breasted hopper
Spring's harbinger, listening
for sound below ground
beak lancing down impaling,
nourishing her nests new brood

EDIT: line 2

[Quadman2]

Robin

red breasted hopper
Spring's harbinger, listens
for sound below ground
beak lancing down impaling,
nourishing her nests new brood

Captured the moment.

A word snapshot.

Q

[merlynski]

windy is our world
storm on west horizon's edge
Spring in to high plains

[merlynski]

Spring?

cold wet gray our sky
spring is stumbling about
green growth pops up still

[bobsvinyl]

UNDERWORLD

Matted leaves lifted
Revealing a darkened world
Sheltered from the sun,
A world of tiny creatures
Living in obscurity.

[bobsvinyl]

MAILBOX

Impaled on a post
Reshaped by plows and snow banks
A lonely sentry.

[merlynski]

LETTER

communication
received in a small box
envelopes my eyes

[merlynski]

STAMP

pasted on corner
bright coloréd permit
lets message travel

[Te-Te]

Mailman's Lament.

Mail carrier Bob
Dogs nipping at his ankles
Still got the job done..

[merlynski]

gnirpS

Snow lays like a sheet
covers our ground, wind blows wild
glad we are at home!

[merlynski]

Midday

Snow's furry blanket
turning to slush melting down
moisture for spring's blooms.

[bobsvinyl]

SOLITUDE

Darkened copse of trees
No birds seeking shelter there
Only sighs of wind.

[Quadman2]

TIME

Steals our fading youth
until past memories are
but blurred images.

Q

[bobsvinyl]

CULTURE

People grown apart
different but similar
a planet joins them as one.

[bobsvinyl]

MCDONALD'S

Gray sludge on stale rolls
Limp tomatoes and lettuce
No nourishment there.
