Haiku

Hey TT.

Got an idea for a new "Off Topic" thread. There's kinda one already set up, but not specific as I would intend.

The one set up is based on the theme of "creativity", and the different members have been posting their attempts to share what they have produced in the way of the different "Arts". Some sculpture, some paintings/drawings...and I think some poetry...but now sure of the last offerings.

Anyways, was thinking bout setting up a thread, wherein one could share some form of prose: short stories/paragraphs/memoirs/life observations, memories, experiences, etc.

There'd have to be guidelines to prevent some material that might not be in the "good taste", ie, sexual/religious/political, or any other topic that might be construed as not suitable for AK content. I guess, one could narrow it down with a more definite demanded format, ie. poetry/short story...but, again, be on guard for some who might take advantage of having a ready audience, and either provoking or attacking one's way of life.

I'll bet there's prob online sites already set up with this literary format in mind, eh?

Anyways...just flying this by you, to see what your take would be on this. I guess, one would have to bring this to the attention of the powers-to-be, in order to get their sanctification, to allow such material to be accepted, filtered and then allowed...after it met with approval from the uppers.

A plan...or stretching the limits of what AK really is? There was a gent, now passed on, who from time to time shared some of this writing skills in the way of a short story. I remember reading his writings...and the different people who wrote their comments on what he had shared. It was a two-way street of communication.

Yes/no...maybe?:bigok:

I say go for it, you can start a thread about anything, as long as you make clear how you would like it to be played.
Staying within the AK rules must apply as well.
