Haiku

[Mystic]

Today looks better
There be green in them thar hills
Opportunities?

[Quadman2]

Today looks better
There be green in them thar hills
Opportunities?

Right, Mys!

Some one said/wrote a long time ago..."No such thing as bad luck. Only "opportunities" not taken".

Q

[Quadman2]

SNAKE

Legless, slithering
reptile, your reputation
is so invalid.

Q

[DeadRock]

Measles

Colors clash collide
new old clothing is on fire
Get well soon my Friend

[bobsvinyl]

Heart mindlessly beats
Always shocked into working
a slave to itself.

[bobsvinyl]

Spraying rain water
hisses under the tires
then pooling again.

Q

Doesn't always work out that way, but it's nice when it does... even if only accidentally.

[Quadman2]

Good use of alliteration!

Catches the eye as well as the brain.

Q

Spraying rain water
hisses under the tires
then pooling again.

And this is one "slave"...we all need!

Q

[Quadman2]

Spraying rain water
hisses under the tires
then pooling again.

And, we call it; aquaplaning.

Q

[Quadman2]

GENRES

Different tastes in sound,
each pleasing to mind and soul
allowing escape!

Q

[MuseChaser]

In Memorium

In deep gratitude,
we raise our hearts, giving love
to those who gave all.

[Quadman2]

Well somberly expressed, MC.

With time...many do forget, esp the young.

Q

[Quadman2]

SOLDIERS

Embedded in mud,
frozen in in their cold fox holes
or soaked to their skins,
they await morning and pray
for His guidance and to live..

Q

[Quadman2]

BOREDOM

Alone I age in
doctor's world, wondering
when I get my turn.

Q

[bobsvinyl]

Healing can be slow.
The mind can make it longer,
thirsting for good health.

[bobsvinyl]

Weeds are the apex
So strong and resilient
Putting man to shame.

[Quadman2]

Healing can be slow.
The mind can make it longer,
thirsting for good health.

So true! Time loses meaning when it comes to pain.

Q

[Quadman2]

Weeds are the apex
So strong and resilient
Putting man to shame.

And you will lose when you engage with a Dandy Lion!

Q

[Quadman2]

SLEEP

Elusive at worst,
totally fulfilled at best
but how does one choose?

Q

[MuseChaser]

Beer

Barley alchemy,
yielding golden sudsy joy,
proves that God loves us.
