Beer

Barley alchemy,
yielding golden sudsy joy,
proves that God loves us.

Indeed he does...with or without those "barley sandwiches".

You are positively correct, DC!

Welcome to the "Haiku Neighbourhood".

Hope springs eternally
Desire tumbles and falls flat
Summer caught a glimpse

J'accord, DR!

"Summer's" seemed to have let "Spring" share the stage far too long!

Great personifications...all "three".

ENVY

Hidden below that
beguiling smile of one's lust
filled with desire!

Q

[DeadRock]

No Outside

We longed for this state
Secure within our Selfish
Hate machine faces

[DeadRock]

Go Outside

How can you tell if
The Fire Sale is smoking hot
You fear for the not

[Quadman2]

No Outside

We longed for this state
Secure within our Selfish
Hate machine faces

Languishing once established...is so difficult to stamp out!

Longing, runs a close second!

What is a birthday
Wish, but a whisper
in the wind?

Fix and flip, I would
To gain a new amp; alas
Speaker stack remains

That's a really small dog sitting on his head.

[bobsvinyl]

Dog's high pitched whine
Pierces through my hearing aids.
Time for his dinner

Go Outside

The Fire Sale is smoking hot

I guess you read the "Sold" indicator.

Q

[Quadman2]

Alas...there prob will be more "Alas's" in our lives!

Q

in the wind?

Might have to be...a louder suggestion after the "wind" ceases.

Great alliteration, btw!

Summer Daze

Breezelessly hazy,
zaftig buzzards laze chez Sol.
Time to grab some Zees.

[Quadman2]

Great play on words...esp the ""Z's!

Loved it...zo much!
