Thanks Folks!
Nothing better than a perpetual birthday!! At my age I'll take as many as I can get.

It is a relief that there is at least one notable member I have never to start a Birthday thread for again.

LMAO, we'll just wake this one up every couple months or so and be good to go..
Happy Birthday Bob
You started this...
Absolutely correct - if yesterday was September 28.

I'm sending Happy Birthday wishes to Audiokarma's jazz fusion king: Cactus Bob! Wherever you are, I hope the vibe's good, the weather's great, the highs/mids/bass are tight, and the volume is up. Spin some Coryell, Jeff Lorber Fusion, and Mahavishnu Orchestra on your special day!

I had too, so Bob wouldn't think I missed his "Fake" birthday!
Go on and say Happy Birthday.

Thanks Fusion Brother KDAC!! Some prankster revived this thread from last year, but you can never have too many lol. You wrote some great lines there, "the highs/mids/bass are tight, and the volume is up"!!
Back in the late 70's I recorded 2 compilation cassette tapes from my vinyl collection using my old Wollensak 4765 and aptly named the tapes "King of Fusion I" and "King of Fusion II". They were loaded with Mahavishnu, Beck, RTF, WR and everything in between, three hours of solid fusion! I lost the second tape but still have the original and it still sounds great after nearly 40 years!
