Relaxin'
Re: Paul; We're not packed yet, not 'till the 7th...
Oh boy - I'd like to be there for that pack and move of yours. I'm just now getting over my move of June 2003
Today I spent my Canada Day in Burlington, Nova Scotia - pop: 500, but do they ever get out to celebrate Canada Day!
There were cars on both sides of the highway for 2 or more Kms and hundreds more in every available field and Church parking lot. In addition to some great entertainment (live and 'down East' of course) there was an Antique Car Show, a Horse Pulling Contest (a big draw), food and BINGO - the reason I was there. I was working as a BINGO runner. This is Community Service work for my new adopted home, Morden N.S., who run this BINGO for Burlington N.S., a much smaller community that hasn't enough people to run a BINGO so we do it for them.
The Horse Pulling ia an interesting event - I'll attach a picture I took today of a team that weighs 2,828 Lbs and pulled a staggering 10,000 Lbs! Wow! Put that 454 to shame
