Harbeth SHL5....finaly

:lmao:

I have Marantz SA-8003,nothing special but decent CDP.Have some SACD too,but still no enough free time for careful listening.Maybe next week I'll connect 1111mv (best amp I have) and we'll see.

on that unit the SACD should be nice with no digital glare....more analog sounding. You don't find that? I have a Marantz universal player in my second home theater and there is no digital edge at all...smooth, highs slightly rolled of but it has a vinyl like smoothness to it. The Marantz Reference is even more analog sounding.

Congrats on the speakers and great work all the way around! You've got a great space there.

Hope you get some more free time to actually listen to them in depth, but I know how that goes, too much to do, not enough time in the day.

Those stands turned out fantastic!

Yes,Marantz is one fine sounding allrounder (all I wanted to say that this is not the hiend (hi cost) product ),that's all. :thmbsp:

Thank you,

It's sad that we live so fast today. My usual time for listening to music is about 11pm,which is not great because I live in an apartment in the city center

She is very tolerant (I completely occupied our living room) and on the other hand I am very stubborn...perfect combination.
For how long it will last, we'll see.

btw,I can't understand why she has to have 24 handbags in all colours,or 35 pair of shoes or 17 pair of boots (and I'm not asking),so I'm expecting the same

PS-she just returned home...stands passed WAF...now I'm relaxed :D

Wow, I wonder if my wife is your wife's long lost sister :D

Why complain about shoes and bags while we have an abundance of our stuff?
I encourage it, with the exception of encouraging the pile of shoes in front of the entryway to grow.
