harman kardon 730 restoration specialist?

does anyone know if there is a place/person that specializes in restoring these? i have one that works but could use some love. would love to get it to as close to mint as possible, or would trade it out for something that has been restored. saw one recently on bartertown with an updated phono stage, which would be nice, but it sold.

Sorry, my location is in my profile, I'll set it so it's in my avatar too. I'm located in Ventura county CA. Local would be best, but I guess I'd ship, I'd also purchase something restored and just sell mine locally. should probably put an post in barter town.

I have cracked open a hk twin-powered 730 before and it would be a fun restore. I'm east coast, though, so shipping back and forth would be as much as the work.

I am currently refurbishing and upgrading a 730- just sorting out the stereo light for FM and am in NorCal if that assists

That is a bit exotic. Just understand you don't have to go that far to get a working, great-sounding 730. Modern electrolytics and metal film resistors, at like $0.11 each will make a fantastic sound.

I lucked out and I ended up finding a mint 730 on craigslist, spent almost its whole life in the box. doubled up on the luck and scored a 4100 off barter town. guess I'm going to need another set of speakers.
