Harmon Kardon tube amp

Harmon Kardon A30K tube amp garage sale find. Anyone know anything about it?

I'm sure its the same as the A300 using 12AX7's on inputs, 12AU7 phase inverters and 6V6 outputs. I had an A300 very sweet midrange but lacking in bass.

the A30 is the kit version of the A300
bought mine off the bay, and i love it
i plan to have it "pimped" soon
mine has plenty of deep bass
i guess it depends on the brand of tubes in there

h/k probably has the owners manual on their website, if you need one.

The "standard-issue" h/k amps were OK but not great (IMNSHO). The earlier Citation power amps are, on the other hand, amplifiers for the ages.

h/k site isn't loading, so I cannot check right now.

Unfortunately, this is the A300 tuner - H-K reused that model number... and more bad news - this one didn't get covered in Sams Photofacts either.
