Is this the only thread started on Harms Labs?!? It's the only one I could find, and there's nothing here except a question. I'm asking, because there's a pair of model 1 speakers on the local CL that look impressive.

Harms Labs was a local speaker builder in Fort Collins Colorado. I bought a couple pair of speakers from him in the early 80's. At the time, he was selling them out of the living room of his house. Well built cabinets and, at least on mine, hand built crossovers including home made coils. I believe the I's have a 5" woofer and an 8" passive. The woofer has rubber a surround but the passive has foam that will probably need to be replaced.
He was out of the speaker building business for several years but it looks like he has gone back into manufacturing again.

I still have my pair of Harms Labs III's that I haven't listened to in years. I should pull them out sometime and see if they sound as good as I remember.

Reviving an old thread here... I have a pair of Harms Labs bookshelf speakers and a center speaker too. I live in Fort Collins, CO and Steve Harms has a shop in our downtown area (aka "Old Town"). I've been a customer of Steve's for a the past 7yrs, he's repaired a couple of my older Fender guitar amps as well as a Roland JC120 guitar amp that I managed to blow up (at Scrumpy's Cider, haha, for any of you locals...). Today I picked up a passive sub at the Goodwill in Loveland, CO for $40, it's huge - nice cabinet build and the grill cloth attachment is velcro'd on - very similar to my 3 Harms Labs speakers. Given the proximity to Ft. Collins, I'm thinking there's a decent chance this sub is a Harms Lab product, but there's no marking/branding to look further into. Anyone seen one of these before? It measures 18x18x18" and has 2x 12" woofers along with 2x inputs and 2x outputs on the rear of unit (I have no idea which is which....any help here is appreciated...).

Saw this a couple of days ago at the Loveland Goodwill but I'm trying not to buy anymore audio gear until I purge the hoard I already have. Definitely has that Harms Labs.vibe. I would say that the bottom two (with the fuse holders) are in inputs and the upper ones are the outputs.
Nice! Funny you'd already seen this exact unit in person before I posted about it. Are you local in Loveland?
You were right about the bottom 2 ports being for inputs; thanks for chiming in. This thing bumps, got it in combination with my Mission Model 70 bookshelf speakers and pumping through a Technics receiver and Kenwood power amp.
