Has anyone else seen the new ebay slogan???

From my understanding Etsy has two main sections.. Vintage and supplies.

If what you want is old, then just search under Vintage. It will cover everything... I don't often browse, so where something is listed doesn't bother me. Beats me how they have things organized, all I know is my wife does well on there, really enjoys it, and does a lot of hob knobing there in their forums and stuff, and it allows her to get her store out there to a lot more people than you could on ebay by word of mouth..

I still will sell on Ebay from time to time as there are some things that sell best there. But the fees are outrageous and the paypal fees on top of that. And when it comes to buying, the prices at ebay are out of sight most of the time.

I have not been keeping up with ebay in the last few years.

Several years ago I sold a ton of U.S. WWII militaria on there and got a boatload of money. It was all stuff I'd collected from way back in the 1950s.

One M-1 Garand ammo belt (1942 new unused) brought $250.00! I was shocked.

Anyway, I've got another boatload of stuff I was just getting ready to get rid of . . .

So you guys are saying go with Amazon and not eBay?

Help! Go Amazon???

I view ebay as a place to buy something that cannot be found anyplace else on the planet, thats what makes them good. But I guess they disagree.

I know what the problem is, they have book read people trying to run the place and make silly policy who hasn't ever ran a garage sale or a lemonade stand or ever dealt with a customer over the counter in their life.
