The first one probably does more damage.Which is worse? Love to hate, or hate to love?

Presuming to know what is in another's heart, and being willing to publicly state that guess as fact has been on the rise for more than a decade. In my opinion, this tendency is eroding the definitions of many words.
If I constantly hear that people like me are haters, racists and misogynists, then the meanings of those words must be much less severe than I had always thought. After all, I'm pretty pleasant and quite reasonable.
Maybe this word is better? I don't know.. Both seem to mean a very similar thing but loathe isn't often used like hate is. They don't ever seem to call it 'loathe' speach.
loathed; loathing
Definition of loathe
transitive verb
: to dislike greatly and often with disgust or intolerance
Loath vs. Loathe
Many usage commentators point out that the spelling of loath the adjective is distinct from loathe, the verb that means "to dislike greatly." Merriam-Webster dictionaries record loathe (along with loth) as a variant spelling for the adjective, at the same time indicating that the spelling with an e is not as common as the form without it. Both words hark back to Old English, and the e ending in each has come and gone over the centuries - but if you want to avoid the ire of those who like to keep the language tidy, stick with loath for the adjective and loathe for the verb.
With you here. At least for myself. I am working on my self talk and vocabulary as well."Commercials you hate", this thing you hate, that thing you hate...
Come on folks. Please reduce the use of this carcinogenic word at Audiokarma. Of course I know what you actually mean, however:
"Disliking" something is sufficient in most of the cases.

That's anguish man...my dad got hosed by the gov't, too. Messed my life up 'cause I was 7 years old.Don’t even get me started....
How can a people that consume the amount of chemicals and I’m including environmental exposure, how can people even function in a normal way. Hint, there not....
I hate being fried by 732 Kuwaiti oil wells directly after Desert Storm and being messed up beyond normal recognition and the government lying about it.
This world isn’t rude....it’s foul !!!
Let me share some information on the cause of the war on terror....
Just prior to Desert Storm....the first Iraq war, Saddam Hussein has his Sunni military units press young Shiite men into Iraq’s regular army. Saddam places all these Shiites in a long trench. Just before the end of Desert Storm, the American military approaches the trench and the young Shiites run towards the American forces with hands held high and no weapons only to be shot down and plowed under by tanks. The Shiite young men that ran in the opposite direction are taken POW and eventually released telling everyone they know about what happened.
How do I know....cause I was there and in charge of a group of POWs and a couple of them were born in New York that were brothers visiting family !
Directly after that the entirety of 3rd Armor (the ones ordered to commit the atrocities) based out of Germany was placed in the middle of the burning super plume of the Kuwaiti burning oil fields.
So, now you all know what has caused international Arab unrest
Bosnia
The Twin Towers
Both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars
The Arab Spring
The War On ISIS
The word might be milder in English. I've always hated muskmelon. And I hated the fact that I was the only one who hated muskmelon. Don't be fooled by American news media. "Hate" is a word used as a political smear. It goes in one ear and out the other.

We can't hate everybody and everything (and stay alive).
Focus on something positive. Your hobby, or pets, or something.
There's a group of men who had to incinerate Saddam's stockpile of chemical weapons after the war.Oh, there’s more...
After returning from Desert Storm to Germany, all those that were sick from exposure to the burning oil plume were kicked out of the Army by way of article 15 other than honorable discharge. That’s why there were so many homeless vets right after Desert Storm....and most of them have died in homeless shelters.
I am sick but can stay on my feet and stayed in the military with a severe behavioral and health problem. They couldn’t kick me out.....and I gave them hell for fifteen years.
That’s why I went to college and attained a degree in Anatomy & Physiology, to deal with this sickness and help others that are sick that have no hope from the present medical system of profit.
I do not think so. I think that we live in a very rude world.
