When my dad served in Paraguay from 1982 to 1987 we lived in a house that was built on an old cemetery grounds from the time of the spanish conquerers (most of the neighborhood was as we later discovered)
The name of the neighborhood in guarani language that is spoken by the local indians is MANORÁ which means "A trip that you're not coming back from"
Locals said that the spanish conquerers would send their prisoners to that place to be executed and buried.
We often heard noises on the stairways made of wood at around 11:00 pm like someone was coming down the stairs, the garage light would burn out within two days of exchanging, no matter what type of lamp you would use; incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps or any other type of lamp, it would never last more than two days.
Sometimes our dog would chase something that seemed to be flying and would go through a wall next to my brother's room.
But nothing bad happened to us we didn't feel nothing touch us nor we heard voices or saw shadows.
