HBO Cancels Vinyl

I had high hopes for the show. Don't know why, I just did. It turned out to be just like most of the new shows over the past several years - an interesting premise as the hook and then it quickly devolves into another "soap opera". That seems to be the norm now so I shouldn't have been surprised. And it was, as someone else noted, pretty bad writing.
 
More than one episode aired, so can we call it Vinyls now?
