Can anyone tell me what turntable this is from, or is it a generic headshell? I got this with some stuff I bought at a thrift and have never seen one with just the one screw. Thanks for any info.

That headshell came on the SL-1300 to 1500 technics tables. I have one on my SL-1400. Looks to me missing an adapter though. My AT95E has a hole on top for the single screw to go into.

Thats a 'Technics' headshell. Looks exactly like the one on my 1976 vintage SL-23.
Also fits lots of other turntables too.

No, the adapter plate is there. I can see the black plate with two black screws on the underside of the headshell, if I lighten up the image. It is a very handy design, allowing for the adjustment of the cartridge when the top screw is loose, and then once it is in the right position one only has to tighten just the one screw to keep the cartridge in place.

Ah, your right:thmbsp: It is a pretty cool design, and as has been said, it will work with most tables.

Also SL1100A has those as well. The original shell didn't have the 3 holes they changed it sometime around 74 or 75 plus the 1100A shells were brushed aluminum front section
