Hello, and how did I do?

I've been lurking out there for a few months. I've been lamenting the loss of a Marantz quad and turntable I got at a garage sale when I was in grad school twenty years ago. I put it somewhere "safe" when I moved. It was so safe I never found it again. Over the past few months I have decided to try to assemble a vintage solid state system.

I picked up some interesting things today. Total spent was $30. Here's what I got:
AR turntable (nice wood base, some cracks on the plastic cover and belts laying in a pile and not working)
Eico st-97 tuner with manual (lights up)
Teac A-1220U reel to reel (haven't tried it yet and not pictured)
Realistic MC-1000 speakers with walnut wood veneer
Barzilay walnut stereo cabinet

So here's the question. How did I do is there a market for them. I really just want to get a cool Marantz or Pioneer system.

Here's the cabinet after my wife and I rubbed it down with lemon oil. Included are some other recent finds (Pioneer pl 518 with no feet) and some other mediocre solid state Pioneer stuff and a crappy cd player and some cheap Dayton Audio speakers.

Nevertheless, I'm playing records again and I couldn't be happier.

Ah yes, the first step on that slippery slope!! Welcome to AK! You will find a lot of members here with similar afflictions, but we all enjoy them!!
