@bobabode That's flattering, thank you, sir, in fact, I'm learning the hard when interacting in forums, everytime trying to revise myself and see if I'll be clearly understood, lol

@Perseidas Morocco is #1 on my international bucket list. But my friend wants to go to Japan. We'll see. I'll eventually get there!

@onepixel Oh ! Japan, what a special country and culture. I liked to see animes some time ago when I was younger, and I learned some hiragana (ofc now I barely remember the alphabet haha). Nice trip maybe you'll be lucky and go there soon.

There's some updates :
I bought some tools so I can manage to do some basic testing on vintage amp electronics, and do recaps, and same thing for speakers and subwoofer etc. and ordered a recap kit for my sansui au-3900.
Those tools are basic, nothing too pricey ! it consists in two multimeters (bought 1st manual range and then I figured out autorange is more handy and purchased one, those costed some 25 USD each, no Fluke but it will do the job lol). Also bought a SMD tweezer tester (Uni-T) and I ordered an ESR meter that is on it's way (those two will useful to test things in circuit (right ?! ). Bought also a simple generic soldering station, soldering wire, wire stripper, soldering paste, freezing spray, cleaners etc...
All this, is clearly not only with the intention to recap the sansui only, but it will be helpful so I can search and snipe some other vintage amps in the future hopefully.
I know this is an introduction section and when I will get all this stuff I will try to post a thread on my modest experience gradually step by step while I'm doing it and share and also bother members with surely some stupid questions
So, I post this update to ask where is the proper section to post this future thread ? thanks !
