Hi, I'm Steve from Sacramento, CA. I used the handle pocketrabbit because I have just purchased a house in Sacramento's Pocket neighborhood, on Harvey Way. I enjoy my old stereo equipment, some I have had for a long time, and some I have more recently purchased. Although I enjoy the sound and look of the old gear, I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile, at least not in any technical way. For the moment, I joined because I've got some questions about how adapt (or whether to replace) my current speakers for my little bit larger spaces in the new house. I'll post that question to the speaker section in the next day or so. Glad to be here! I have often come upon these discussions while researching, and at least now I won't be a lurker anymore.

Welcome to the forum, Steve. Sacramento is a nice area. I spent a lot of time out there back in 2007/8. I stayed in Roseville mostly. Greetings from Madison, AL.

I visited Sac and vicinity @ business (UC Davis & CA State Department of Corrections, CA Department of Education) often from the late 1990s through 2009. I like the town a lot.

Welcome. I lived in the Pocket neighborhood for a summer, Hideout Court, during an internship years ago. I'll never forget it because someone broke into my car in the drive of my house and stole my freaking stereo! Anyway, that was a long time ago. :)
