Hello - need verification w/ part no.

Hello all,

I'm new to the Marantz section although I've been a AudioKarma member for some time.

I am trying to verify whether a 2216 push button power switch will work in a 2220. The part no. for the 2220 switch is SP0201010. I can't find a SM for a 2216 in the database, but the SM for a 2216B indicates the switch is a SP02010270. Is there really a difference in the switches or are games being played here?

I haven't gotten into this unit yet. It appears that the whole button assembly was 'removed'. I can't state anything concerning the switch, other than it is in the 'ON' position as I was able to power the unit up and it produced good sound.
