Help identify these speakers

These speakers are in the 3010/3011 ampex. I have heard Ampex made some great speakers.

Are they CTS or Eminence, maybe? Ceramic or alnico, and which is better between the two?

The magnets look big and heavy for a '60s speaker.

Do these look any good, decent?

Please help, anyone?

137 is the EIA code for CTS, so that seems likely. These are AlNiCo magnets, and the part you can see is actually part of the structure. You'd see the actual magnets if you peel off the shiny covers (not that I'd recommend you do that), so evaluating the magnet size by looking at the structure is probably not that accurate. The following pic shows what the magnet itself probably looks like:

That's not what I'd call a large magnet for the '60s.
But maybe because this is what I grew up with in the '50s!

Also, those JBLs have like 3-4" voice coils, and the magnet is inside the coil.

Yep, 4-inch. And the D130 first came out in 1948.
