Adding JBL 2402H to Altec Model 19s to make it 3 way.
Hello AK community, I'd like to ask for some guidance here. I have a chance to purchase a set of JBL 2402H locally and was wondering if anybody has tried adding these as supertweeters to Altec Model 19s. I believe 2402H are ferrite but my 416-8B on the Altec are alnico afaik. is this... -

Help identify these speakers
These speakers are in the 3010/3011 ampex. I have heard Ampex made some great speakers. Are they CTS or Eminence, maybe? Ceramic or alnico, and which is better between the two? The magnets look big and heavy for a '60s speaker. Do these look any good, decent? Please help, anyone? Merry... -

I have a pair of these speakers. What I know is that they are 12" and 4 ohm. They work and don't require much power. Small alnico magnets. Fairly small voice coil.
