Help me finalize the dream setup.

I can't decide which is best, but desirability and resale value tell me 110a too.

OR 'invest' in very good headphones. Nice now because you can enjoy without disturbing the sleeping little one and nice later to cancel out the not-so-little-anymore one when you need to focus at home. Trust me, have three teenagers and their friends running around the house often over here. :rflmao: o_O

All three are good. The JBLs are maybe a bit more of an 'exciting' listen also arguably more involving at low volume level.

I'd probably go with the 110A
Low volume is important for me to be honest. With a little baby, late night movies still need to feel good.

Yeah I think you are right on this one. I'm feeling it the same way. L86 is not talked about enough, and Wharfedale...well...Wharfedale are too new and small, and cute haha.

Ohhh let me enjoy the speakers for a bit..at least until that time comes, then I'll be asking questions about the headphones! Any suggestions on those since we are on the topic
It's always subjective, but I'd be leaning heavily to the Wharfedales. I've just never heard a JBL I'd want to live with. Do you prefer refinement or excitement?
It really is! ufff tough question sir. A perfectionist and a designer, every day all day listener, no breaks, plus sessions whenever I get a chance...Can I have both refinement and excitement please?
"Help me finalize the dream setup."

Won't you have to go back to sleep for that?
I've ben doing that for days, and if I continue like this...well it's all it will ever be, a dream!

The moment I get it, I'll let y'all know! And change the name of the thread while I'm at it

Fingers crossed then. Any suggestions how do do it properly sir?

The best advice I can give is to go and listen to as many top tier systems as you can (even if you can't afford them). Learn what you like the sound of, then try to emulate it with your own system. Hearing is a sense.... listening is a skill and it can be honed. Keep an open mind...you only need to please you. Experimenting is healthy and educational....learn what works for you in your space with your gear.

When you're happy, you've done it properly! It can take a while, so enjoy the journey.:cool:

Love this message! So nicely put together and great advice and the core of why we do this! Thanks for taking the time to write it down sir!
It's all in the journey, not the goal itself!
