It's Done!!
I've finished the power supply capacitor replacement and I've got the MCS up and running. It sounds far better than the mid 90's PBC receiver I had previously, and there's not even a comparison on the looks.
Here's the new power supply capacitors in place next to an old one.
Perhaps some day I'll recap the entire thing, though that's one behemoth of a job as this thing has more circuit boards than knobs and lights.
