HELP!!! My cat thinks one of my speakers is a scratching post!

Thankfully the only thing my Himalayan scratches on is an empty record crate which I leave out for her. She does have this annoying habit of not using her litter box all the time but I know when she's looking for trouble. We have a fun game of me chasing her around the house until she finally hits the litter box. I think she enjoys it LOL

I try to keep a cardboard cat scratchier around in case they want something to rip up. It's cheap and it works.

These work fine but are messy. A decent carpeted one does not leave pieces everywhere.

Thanks Frannie,
I think that's been pointed out to me before, though I had one a while back that looked like a cow (I miss him).
I like to think of them as my Pride.
Ron,
In my house I refer to that as thinking outside the box. I have one now doing it but I rarely catch her. Another ( possibly the same) is peeing on the bath matt in the downstairs bathroom. I'm reasonably sure which but I'd like to catch it in the act. I have a female himalayan (well 2 mother, daughter)
I think the mom is coming to her end . Really a shame, the sweetest cat I've maybe ever had. You could do anything to her as long as you pay attention to her. Her daughter is a little witch.
