HELP! Pioneer SX-1050 and SA-9800 Service/Restoration needed

Greetings to all my fellow vintage hi-fi lovers!

I am truly at my wit's end!! I have the two aforementioned Pioneer receiver & amplifier, and it's been an absolute nightmare to try and find anyone worth a damn that can get them restored or serviced properly. I'll spare everyone all the frustrating details, but suffice it to say, at this point I'm just looking for some advice on who in my area or region could possibly do these 2 fine pieces for me.

I live in Raleigh, NC. But I'm willing to drive several hours for the right guy.

Sorry.. I posted it in the Pioneer forum initially, but then it dawned on me: solid state was probably a better spot to be

That's cool! ;) but if you tell us here what some problems are, we can assess if it's worth anything for someone to take a look at. :angel:

Someone here on the board might live close to you and help you on repairs if you give your general location. :thumbsup:
