Help w/ speaker connectors

Ok I have a really nice playing jvc 30 watt amp, but has these cheesy nylon screws for speaker connectors, and their chipping off , really annoying. I'd like to put female banana connectors or other ideas, maybe throw a link up or, some ideas, here's a Pic of current connectors.

Taking time gently working the screw out/in of the bracket until it comes out. Then with a drill bit just a tad bit larger open the hole. Then one of these will fit I believe from the picture supplied.

Needed to do in the past. One can also rob off another donor strip to repair one or two if need be. If wanting to keep it OEM. The secret is in removal of the part. Care and taking ones time is what will be called for.

This is a thread where I did such a thing....

That looks good oerets, ya.. im not a fan of the screws, after I get the jvc done ive got a new set of optimus 25 speakers ill be changing out the screws

I might use dual binding posts and see if you can make the distance between adjacent pairs Not 3/4” so a dual banana plug will not fit if trying to plug in the two adjacent black connections. This would not be a problem on most stereo gear because it is common ground but some gear and getting sound from the speakers would be a problem.

Should be easy to build a non-conductive panel to mount the binding posts to and install them in the unit.

Pomona is a great brand.

On the HH Scott 233 someone stripped out one of the screws putting on eyelet wire ends mated to female RCA ends.

Yes , I know sometimes when you get to changing out stuff, sometimes the new stuff might get tight!!!

I’d also get spade connectors for the speaker wires. Good-quality steel is fine.
