Heresey II PGB

I gotta say something about how they sound now that the new cross overs are in place.

What I noticed almost imediatly was a much better sound stage and a 'presence' that I had'nt noticed before.

I haven't listened critically yet but those two things were readily apparent. what I need to do now is listen to some known source material that I played using these speakers before the upgrade as the colorations or lack of are subtle. They don't kick you in the side of the head like what I have already mentioned./

I have noticed more energy from them as front speakers in my HT system plus the levels changed a couple dB to the good.

Now to get my house back in order, rug shampooed, new stand for the TV and I'll be set. . . for now.

Those look real nice, gyusher. :thmbsp: It wouldn't be right to mess with the decent finish on my Heresy but I have some Yamaha cabs that could REALLY use a facelift like that.

My best advice is to take the time to do it right. Not a quick fix as it always turns out to be more than you think when you decide to do it. Its not hard just takes time but the end result is most always worth the effort.

Kinda like giving a classic a mod even if not original it has value if done right. Often adding value rather than taking away. The key is 'done right'. . .

Man I'm pumped. Just bought a mint pair of Fort'e II's and a Klipsch Academy center for a price that will remain secret. . .

Anyway now the Fort'e II's for fronts and the Academy center with my Heresy II's for rears. . .

Lots of black painting to do as well as more new cross overs. . . never ends. .
