Highest-end gear you've found at a thrift

Pair of DCM Timewindows 1a at the SA: $60. I've grown very fond of them and can't imagine getting rid of them any time soon.

Sansui D-705 w/o door cover
HK HK2000 , thees 2 was ontop of a stack of cassette decks standing on the floor, standing nearly a meter high, i asked the guy running the store how much for the whole stack, he said if you can get that garbage out the door you can have them for free.

Jbl L19´s rotten foam about 10 bucks.

2 pairs of A-25 speakers. ended up giving about 100bucks for all 4 .

Edit: oh i forgot! about 1993 i found a revox A77 at a musical instruments thrift for next to nothing.
he said it was broken, when i got home it turned out the remote controler plug was pushed in the wrong way around. it worked perfectly fine ever since.

Dynakit (Dynaco) ST-70 at Goodwill a few months. At $249, it was more than I wanted to pay, but it's in nice shape and works. I'm not quite finished replacing old parts yet (caps, resistors, rectifier), but I'm looking forward to trying it out again soon!
(pics are as-purchased before I cleaned it up)

I found a Denon DVD 2910 SACD,CD universal player for around $9. It was in perfect condition. I bought an OEM remote online - darn thing cost more than the player. I used both for years until I traded them in to PS Audio to buy a refurbished PerfectWave Transport. PSA gave me a trade-in credit equal to the player's original $799 MSRP.

I found a Yamaha A-1 amplifier and the T-1 tuner sitting on top of it, $14 each, something like that. After I bought them I was told they thought it was all new crap due to the look. I didn't know exactly what I was buying at the time but I knew it was good stuff, something so heavy. Some guy had them in his cart but I saw him leave without them. I ran back to the electronics section, it seemed so far away and theeeere they were. I was told that guy thought the price was $14 for both, he got mad and put them back. I've never plugged it in. Best speakers I've found were EPI m150 for $14, really like those, beat up but needed no repairs.

I found a Sony STR-GX9ES receiver at Habitat for Humanity for $40.
A pair of Thiel 04 speakers, needed passive radiators refoamed, at GW for $22.
Both in use in living room system.

I’ve found a few things. Not sure if I mentioned them here or not.

Kef 103/2 $25+$10=$35
Paradigm 90P powered towers $79
Sony SS-G7 $40
Bose 501 $10+$25=$35, I think
Sansui AU-D9 $40

The Kef are still a project but I listen to the G7s regularly.

Goodmans of England coaxial 212's in i cabs. $10 i bought them strickly for the enclosures not knowing what speakers were inside. Technics Sl-d3 with at-15sa cart $20 Pioneer CS-53 $30 not super high end , funny they cost more than the ^ Goodmans

A tech friend was looking for a tube preamp for me and found a Van Alstine Super PAS 3 and the matching Dynaco tuner. He put all NOS GE tubes in it for me and had 2 bills in it by the time he gave it to me.
I would like to find the ST70 to go with it for a decent price. Nothing around here is a score unless you stumble across one at a church flea market or a charity yard sale.

A Linn Classik Musik receiver/CD player combo unit for $20. Linn electronics are pretty rare in Canada so I was quite surprised to see it.

Maybe not high end but still cool, a Sansui AU-919 Stack, I waited until 25% off Thursdays to pull the trigger, it was around $300. I've seen and bought so much cool stuff from the thrifts back when Bose Ruled and big amps were boat anchors. Once the receivers started going for $24.99 around 2012, I pulled back a ton and left a lot of gold on the shelves.

$23 for the whole stack about 10 years ago at Goodwill. Everything worked including the tape deck. The integrated amp only needed some deoxit on the switches and knobs. Haven't seen anything like this at my local Goodwill for a few years.
