I know this guy.......nice guy but looking for his "nirvana" and going around in circles trying to find it. I have done a little trading with him. He's had some really nice stuff but trades or sells it off thinking something will be better then ends up not happy and goes on and on and on. were talking Carver, Forte Audio, Altec, JBL, Nakamichi etc etc.

If there is one thing that I have learned in this hobby it is never sell an item to get a different item. Many has been the time that I have sold an amp or preamp etc to get something else that I just knew was going to be better than what I had because I had read and heard great reviews and oppinions about this item only to be dissaponted that it was not as good as the item that I had gotten rid of. Sometimes the new item costing hundreds or even thousands more than what it replaced. Save your money and compare the two together than make a decision and sell the one you like the least, and never replace two items at once it is too hard to tell which item had the most impact otherwise.

Sounds like just about everyone here at one time or another, or always.
