I am curious to know if anyone else on here builds their own guitars.I've built 2.A copy of a Randy Rhoads Jackson with 24 frets and a floyd rose and a copy of a Dean ML with 24 frets and a floyd rose.

I've built my own bass in the past and helped on custom builds with a friend.
The bass was a PB copy and the others were all variations on Teles.

Years ago, I had a friend carve a Strat-style body out of Honduras mahogany which I adorned with a Warmoth rock maple neck, Grover tuners, Seymour Duncan JB pickup, original Floyd Rose, and a single volume control. I finished the body with several hand-rubbed coats Watco Danish Wood Oil. It would sustain for days. I later sold it to a friend.

I started a bass project a long time ago but never finished it, new basses cost less but I do plan on eventually completing a P Bass copy just because I have all the parts.

Well, i just finished drawing up the patterns for a 3rd guitar.It's going to look simalar to a Dean ML but with all the points rolled into devil horns.I'm going to make it a long scale 28 fret 7 string with crosses in the fret board and a pentagram in the headstock.
