Love the quilted seats. JDM is a Japanese acronym for "Steering Wheel on Wrong Side."

So was VGS ever available for the US cars? Can US cars be retrofitted with a left-side version?

I do too! That interior option and steering were never made available to any other model. Japanese domestic (JDM) or otherwise. So were the one-off Enkei 6-spoke rims.

The VGS was only a Japanese market thing. The variable gear ratio tech or mods was never incorporated into export models.
