How do I clean these switches?

I would drop the switches into an ultrasonic cleaner, but I have a couple. Is this an option, i.e. know anyone?

partsconnexion has the D5 on sale for 14 USbucks a can. I didn't go further to see how much shipping would be within Canada. But maybe there are some other things you could use from them, they have some nice stuff available and have a nice package arrive. Wonder if the shipping and the exchange rate would make that a $40 purchase for you?

Thanks for this suggestion! But if I already blew an arm and a leg on DeOxit fader, I might as well just use that. Also I believe (Not sure but somehow I remember this) that import of Aerosols into Canada is prohibitively expensive due to some environmental regulations.

But it seems this DeOxit fader works decently well, as the pots are all noise-free after using it to clean them.

A while ago I bought some generic-looking Motomaster electrical contact cleaner from a store we have here, called 'Canadian Tire', but it says on the label that it's for auto parts only and not safe for use when cleaning consumer electronics, so I decided not to trust it with the Yamaha. I'll test it with some trash-pulled bpc I don't care as much about.

There is a gap between the top and bottom metal housings, like a slot. Inject the cleaner there. Even better is to get some hypodermic needles and matching Luer fitting and tubing from McMaster-Carr, glue the fitting onto the tubing, couple the tubing to the existing De-Oxit plastic snorkel, and fit the needle on the Luer fitting. Now you can inject cleaner into the tiniest gaps.
