How do you keep a new dust cover clean?

Swiffer and a light touch.

I keep one in my music room and one in the car. (also the best way to clean the "simulated wood" on the dash without scratching it.)

This is what I use. On a shiny finish piano as well, at least to start. I want to get any abrasive dust off the surface first before I start with any moisture/soft cloth.

I wrap mine with saran wrap, not pretty tho. I read somewhere that you can use a used
laundry anti static sheet and gently wipe any surface to repel dust. I do this with my laptops , works great

Pledge for the last 40 years!

Use a little canned air to blow off the big stuff. A little Pledge furniture polish in a microfiber cloth to keep it clean.

Used to use Pledge on aircraft plexiglass windshields - cleans and polishes. Works well.

My college roommate suggested it. There turntables dustcover looked perfect. Asked her what she used. Pledge. Last week I got a dustcover as part of a deal on a Dual 1219. It's cover was dirtiy. Used Pledge first but it still was grungy. So I got some Windex, and did a corner to make sure it did not wreck it. It worked. Cleaned off the grung and then Pledged it. Really looks good. I use old cotton T shirts. My Dual covers are rare and hard to find, and I gently wipe them clean. Putting a cloth over it sounds like smart idea? Here're the end result on the Dual
