How much do you pay for bulk R/R tapes?

When you find bulk R/R lots how much do you end up paying for unknown tapes?

depends on the tape, the size, the seller and all sorts of things. I paid about a buck-twenty for a large pile, bought in bulk for a low price.

What size tapes? Most big reels are metal and those are 15 a pop all by themselves.

Yes, was not thinking big or metal. Just standard reels.

I paid $1.35 to $1.80 per reel for some big lots and the shipping is factored in at the reel price. Lots were 70 to 95 reels.

Usually less than 0.50. For good ones, $1 is ok. But my buyer always happy to pay $2 or more

In an estate sale situation I try to pay a buck or two a pop for good brand tapes in good condition, maybe up to $5 if they're new/sealed. I won't touch any of the generic brands, radio shack, etc, no mold spores, no iffy looking tapes. 10" doesn't turn up a lot, but I'll obviously pay a premium for those.
