How much to pay Polk RTA 12

I am going to see a set of Polk RTA 12 Speakers and wanted to know what was the price range I should pay as I have no clue about their value.

I would think $200-$350 depending upon condition and which series they are. The later B & C series tend to go for a bit more than the originals. Those look like they are one of the later series as I don't believe the originals had the built-in risers.

I think they are the older ones but I just called and I am picking them up tomorrow for a really good deal

I got a VG deal on my 12B's but I'd pay $200 to $300 for a good pair .

Mine have the risers too..

I can keep the crap Cerwin vega RE-25s hidden in the bedroom as these should work well with my Mitsubishi separates

well I hope it does not jinx it as I am unable to pick them up till after 3 tomorrow but $60 would be considered a score I think.and with my run of bad luck lately I needed this .

Yes, I for one would never trounce on someone's possibility, no matter what the profit. I may have made that mistake b4 though, posting to D&S b4 I had a bird even in view.
This reminds me of that Thorens for $95 recently...disappeared awfully fast !

Ohh now I see why your galaxy commander had to go. That was a great price on the kenwood but you did especially well on the polks. I wouldn't be surprised to see the cv's going to a new home with the new polks now in the stable.

from the original owner with every brochure receipt and even 20 feet of Kimber cable.
unfortunately it is raining here so I can not get them out of the car to take pics.
but these are fantastic looking speakers. $60 is a hell of a price ,the cable most likely cost triple what I paid for the speakers,needless to say I did not try and bargain him down.
very nice quiet type guy .only flaw in speakers is in one of the tweeter covers as a couple of pegs broke off,other than that they are mint.
