I've seen a couple of threads asking how to remove the grille from Bose Model 21.
The simple answer is: you aren't supposed to do that.
Bose doesn't want you to remove it and doing so will surely void your warranty. They would rather you buy a new speaker from them. But as "luck" would have it I recently acquired a couple of these secondhand and I was more or less forced to take them in my package deal for the stuff I actually wanted.
I went online and found that no one wanted a piece of this. I can hardly blame them as these are not especially valuable for the amount of time, work and money needed to repair them.
I have literally nothing to lose, and rules are made to be broken; so without further ado, here is how I did it:
I may do a follow up showing how I do the front baffle repair and make a new removable grille. If I see there is an interest.
