Again I feel it would be better for someone really familiar with this receiver to address the matter of the Q5/6 replacements, but my first thought would be to retain the originals (with their heat sinks) unless they have failed. For sure it would be hard to find TO39 replacements - although, if you don't share the usual discomfort with NTE parts, the NTE154 does look pretty good.
Or you could go with a TO126 or even TO220 replacement if you don't mind some lead bending to fit the TO139 pin out, and probably needing to expand the PCB holes for the larger leads. Should be easy to find heat sinks for those cases that would be practical. A lot of AKers use KSC3503 in positions like this. It's quite a bit "faster" than the original, but I'd be surprised if that caused any problem.
