How to Dolby bypass with tone and eq boards in Sansui 9090DB

Already asked in other threads, but a Moderator suggested I should ask again in a separate thread, and I don’t feel confident proceeding with the bypass until I know exactly how to deal with these two mystery wires.

In the thread where Globulator describes the Dolby bypass, the only mention of a wire that might (should?) also be removed from the F-2655 board is the red power wire. (yellow on mine). But there is no mention of how to deal with additional connections.

On the stereo I want to bypass, there are 2 black wires connected to the F-2655, one of which runs to the EQ board, and the other to the Tone board. I hope someone knowledgeable can spell out if I ;

1) Leave them as is.
2) Remove them completely.
3) Relocate one end.

I believe that the wire in question is a ground wire between the tone board and the Dolby board. The tone board has its own ground connection on a regular wire terminal. I believe the black wire soldered to the PCB foil on the tone board can just be removed, although leaving it in place connected to the Dolby board shouldn't hurt anything.

Do you think I should treat the other wire running between the Dolby and Equalizer board the same (leave in place)?
