How to service EPI 200C Speakers

I have a pair of EPI 200C's that are need of of repair. I bought them back in 1980 and have worked fine until now. I have two questions:1) How do you get inside the speaker housing without damaging them? 2) The Tweeter crossover(s) need to be replaced. What is a a reliable source for this part. The switch is located in the upper right hand corner on the front. I have no qualms about moving the crossover elsewhere if needed. Performance is paramount. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. You can access the innards by removing the woofer. I believe the crossover consists of a single 10uFd capacitor in series with the tweeter. If the tweeters aren't working, I'd check them with an ohm meter to see if they're open. There's very little else that could cause a problem except a loose wire or bad solder connection. Check with Human Speakers for parts.

Thanks for your quick reply. I have a call in to Human Speakers, and have used them in the past, but service / replies are slow in coming. The photo is of the crossover ( am I using the incorrect term??) the selector just keeps turning, while the other speaker it just clicks into each setting. that is why I think I will try replace both. Thanks again.

If the switch is a problem and you want to keep it (swechsler is quite right that it is ok to remove it) try spraying it down with De-oxit. While you're in there check to what the uF value is on the capacitor and get a pair of the same value. The originals are probably electrolytic caps, replace with metalized film type capacitors of moderate price. That is all there is to the crossover. Hwe at Human Speakers seems often backlogged but will eventually get back to you. Just communicate which model you have.
Personally I buy and assemble everything when I'm refurbishing a speaker, but then again I've fallen down the vintage rabbit hole.
 
Thank you so much, I truly appreciate the advice. I have a (IMHO) an excellent rig (Perreaux preamp, various peripherals and 2 NAD 2200 amps driving 10 sets of speakers ). The EPIs came with the wife, so I MUST repair them.
