^^ its one of assorted reasons I don't have kids.

Too many people to interact with can form a sort of analysis paralysis. Same as trying to pick something to watch on TV. 7 million options and here we are watching reruns of Mash or The Office or whatever for the 15th time. It just becomes too stressful trying to pick something, so a known quantity gets the nod.

I'm not sure enough nukes can be fired in a war to wipe out say, 7 billion humans. I'd be very surprised if a nuke war consisted of more than 100 hits, before someone yelled UNCLE and negotiations began.

Um, aliens have already been here, done lots of work, and left to find other places to explore. I think they were here 150,000 years ago - or so. Built a lot of really cool monuments all over the planet. Probably got bored after 20,000 or so years.
