Any of the blues masters that they ripped off. Start with Muddy Waters recording of Willie Dixon's "You Need Love" (which Plant and Page stole as "Whole Lotta Love").

Pick up Heartbreaker by Free.It was their swan song but it does sound alot like led zep and what Bad Company would sound like.
