I need a repair shop in Va

The only vintage repair guys I know of in Tidewater is Action Electronics on Rt. 60 in Williamsburg.
Google them up.

After taking my receiver audio visions in Richmond and paying @ $200, and not getting it fixed. Then taking it to audio wizards in Petersburg and them taking 6 weeks of doing nothing. I took it to action electronics in Williamsburg. He told me what it probably was when I dropped it off. picked it up 2 weeks later. Fixed.

What did the failure turn out to be? Any refunds from the shops that didn't repair the receiver? Glad to at least here it's up and running.

You might also try ProCamera even further west (but straight out I-64!) in Charlottesville. I am not sure that BIll "does" solid state stuff, but I can vouch that he does know his stuff in both cameras and hifi.

Thanks for that. I didn't know they repaired anything other than cameras. Also, if in C'ville, this is a good shop too.

A buddy of mine had his reel to reel serviced there, and had good results.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you up at Audio Visions your experience has not been my experience. Glad you were able to get it done.
