Those photos have been ridiculously enhanced, hence the insane blue look. I have seen what they look like in person and they don't look anywhere near that blue, though they are bluer then the originals.

LEDs do that too. I like stock, i.e. fuse lamps, much mellower with the lights down low and Barry White spinning on the TT. Sold for $1,204.

In the 70's, Marantz was considered mid fi in my neighborhood.

It's still only selling for about 1/3 the original retail, and that's with a TON of man-hours and parts put into restoring it, so you would not have made a profit buying them back then and sticking them in your closet. I'm surprised someone that grew up in such a classy neighborhood does not have a better handle on inflation .
