I had fun writing that title, anyway I got an Elac 10h recently- I'm totally new to turn tables.
I got a stacking spindle on ebay which said it came from a Miracord 46. I only had the single play spindle.
When I inserted the stacking spindle it was super wobbly and did nothing when I stacked records and tried to play them. Now I initially thought my single play spindle was also kind of wobbly but assumed that was normal because it still played records. Although, even when the single play is inserted right-side up it replays forever. I read this was a common problem and I had to fiddle with some clip or something, but maybe its because of an obstruction?
I pulled off the platter and took some pictures. Does this look right? Pics I see online seem to show the spindle coming out the bottom but I don't see that and there is some white plastic thing in there. Inserted does it look like its coming up too high? The pic of the underside is with the spindle inserted. I also took a pic of the hole, you can see the plastic looking thing.
