Yup! Very clean...should bring in top dollar. I don't know if the seller is an AK'er or not, but looking at his completed sales, he has been able to bring in top top dollars for most of them...

Anthony, I just bought a pair of Pioneer PAX-30C's that are going in some cabinets just like that.

They are Barzilay cabinets but mine doesn't have the risers. I like the logo they added on the front.

doucanoe has another set too. :D

Got the Altec-itch? :D

Those cabinets are nice.Have you heard any 604s?

I'd be interested to know what you think of the 604s,if you have.

Mmmm, Super Duplex in a very nice box. I want them too.

When I finally do get some 604s, that's the day I'm done looking for speakers.

They are a dam nice set of speaks in a compromised set of cabinets. With that too small volume, you would be looking at about 80 Hz for the low end before it rolls off. I would love to get a set of Tannoy GRFs with a proper capacity for my 604s...

I agree. A 604E without a cabinet that allows for good bass extension is not living up to it's potential.

I agree with bowtie...had a pair in a set of mastering labs big red cabs and it wasn't living up to its potential. Moved them in a set of 8 cu ft. cabs....amazing difference in comparison with the 3 or so cu ft.

You need to think "outside the box" here fellas. :D

Why not use the cabinets for another project and build a cabinet for the altecs...

I think we would all love a set of the Tannoy's. Unfortunayly due to budget and availability, I will probably go the 620 route.

I had a pair of 604's paid 30$ for them...sold them for 1600$...Cabinets were crap and I am not a big fan of coaxials.

I had a pair of Tannoy 15" golds in Lancasters...damn nice sound...cabinets were really tiny...paid 600$ sold for 3000$

I currently have a pair of 001 JBL in home built cabinets that Hal Cox built that use OEM olympus grilles...I am currently in love with them :D Very well built cabinets.
