A speaker system using a high-type wooden cone that is also suitable for home theaters.
The low range is achieved by using two 11 cm cone-type woofers, and by using a dual-unit system, a rich mid-bass range is achieved despite the small diameter.
A wooden cone is used for the diaphragm. A wooden diaphragm has a high propagation velocity in the grain direction, comparable to that of aluminum, but in the cross-grain direction the velocity is less than half, making it less susceptible to inherent resonance. In addition, it has excellent damping characteristics with moderate internal loss that absorbs excess vibrations. This diaphragm is driven by a 25mm diameter 4-layer edge-wound voice coil and a powerful magnetic circuit.
In addition, the surrounds are made of butyl rubber and the frame is die-cast aluminum.
The high region is equipped with a 2.0cm dome tweeter.
A wooden dome is used for the diaphragm to ensure a natural connection with the woofer. Coloration is reduced by the natural resonance dispersion effect of the wood dome grain. The voice coil is made of copper-clad aluminum (CCA), which reduces the weight of the vibration system.
The magnetic circuit uses a neodymium magnet.
The enclosure uses a bass-reflex design.
The SX-WD10 uses a unique curved cabinet to reproduce the spaciousness and realism required for cinema sound.
The front baffle is made of MDF board and the exterior is a wood-effect sheet with a gloss finish.

My wife just picked up a pair of SP-UX 2000's without the receiver at the Ocean Grove, NJ Flea Market. Seller had them listed for 20, after wife contacted me I said offer 15 and she got them. They were used by the sellers, Ex-husband, who was also a DJ, so she said they are probably good because he seems to know a lot about audio. Haven't been able to test them yet, but will bring them back to my office in Bloomfield and hook them up to a Douk Audio TPA 3255 Balanced XLR Audio Power Amp. They will replace my Bose V-100's that actually sound pretty good...Not my Vandersteens, but for my back office, I am sure this will be a major upgrade.
